I had jump started my Nissan Altima after the battery died. Even though the charge was only 70%, it did do the job without a hitch. I used this for 3 straight days to jump-start and got lazy enough not to get the battery replaced. But, some right sense kicked in and got the battery changed, but since then, I have used this to inflate tires, jump-start my friends' cars, with no problems so far.

I've had my portable battery for a year now, and it's met my albeit light-duty needs. My typical usage is: a) blow up the air mattress, b) plug in some LED Christmas lights for a fun effect in the tent, and c) charge a phone and iPad all during a three-day camping trip. I do charge it overnight prior to the camping trips.
The only time I've been dissappointed was after a four-hour charge I tried to run a string of non-LED lights (think old-fashioned Christmas lights) and it only supported them for about ten minutes. I chalked it up to lack of planning on my part. If this last one more camping season next year, then I'll happily consider this a successful purchase.
